NEET UG 2026–27 is the medical entrance exam and admission cycle of the National level for students interested in taking admission to Medical and Allied courses at the undergraduate level in India. NEET UG is organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

What is NEET UG 2026?

NEET UG is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate). It is a common entrance test for the medical undergraduate courses in the country (India).

The National Testing Agency conducts NEET UG.

NTA has been established as an autonomous and independent organisation to hold entrance test for higher education institutions. NEET UG 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To appear for NEET UG and get admission, the candidates need to fulfill the prescribed eligibility requirements.

NEET UG 2026 All India Quota Eligibility

Higher/Senior Secondary or Indian School Certificate equivalent to 10+2 after 12 years of study with the prescribed combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.

Code 03

Intermediate or Pre-degree Examination in Science from a recognised University/Board of India with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
